Jesse Rubens joined Murray Hill Properties in 2002 as a Senior Executive Managing Director with a proven record of accomplishment and strength in a number of significant areas, including real estate marketing and sales, landlord and tenant representation, property valuation and financial analysis. As an attorney, he also brings unique skills and accomplishments to contract and lease negotiations, corporate advisory services, and the design of leasing programs.

Jesse has directed leasing agency teams for 1251 Avenue of the Americas, aka the former Exxon building, where he leased over 1.5 million square feet over a four year period, 660 Madison Avenue, 152 West 57th Street – aka Carnegie Hall Tower, and numerous midtown properties. He is currently directing the leasing team for 556 West 22nd Street and 494 Eighth Avenue.

Jesse’s list of prestigious tenants includes PCFG Advisory Group, Premiere Home Healthcare Services, Inc., McRobert’s Agency, Inc., Miss Elaine, Inc., One Step Up, Ltd., San Simeon, and FYC International. He has also completed numerous non-profit transactions including the sales of 129 Fulton Street to the Coalition for the Homeless and 129 West 20th Street to GMHC. Other significant non-profit leases include YAI Inc., TRI Center, Inc., and the Children’s Aid Society. Jesse also brokered a joint venture partnership of the acquisition of 1412 Broadway by Murray Hill Properties Investment Funds and two private equity families.

Jesse holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, New York. He spent his junior year at The Sorbonne, Paris, France. Mr. Rubens also holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Fordham Law School, New York, and was admitted to the Bar in 1991. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, the National Realty Club, and the UJA.

He resides in Manhasset, New York, with his wife and three young children.
