Garett L. Varricchio joined Murray Hill Properties as an Executive Managing Director and the exclusive leasing agent for the 400,000 sf 1180 Avenue of the Americas. He has been in the corporate real estate industry in New York City and nationally since 1999. Throughout his twelve years in the industry, Mr. Varricchio has specialized in brokerage and consulting work on behalf of landlords and tenants, and has been involved in diverse, multi-layered commercial real estate transactions.

Most recently, Mr. Varricchio held the position as Senior Vice President at RFR Realty LLC, where he was responsible for office and retail leasing at 17 State Street (570,000 sf), 400 Park Avenue (250,000 sf), 345 Park Avenue South (270,000 sf) and 90 Fifth Avenue (125,000 sf). Before RFR, Mr. Varricchio worked as Assistant Vice President in Trinity Real Estate’s New York office, handling 13 properties across a 6 million square foot portfolio.

Mr. Varricchio has sourced and serviced client projects across the Tri-state area from inception to closing, and has managed ‘post-transaction’ follow through to ensure proper landlord/tenant relations. His understanding of leasing and operational issues and knowledge of various financial software programs have proven to be valuable assets to his clients. He has represented noteworthy clients such as Broadway Partners, W&H Properties, Vivendi Universal, Yahoo! Inc. Liberty Mutual, ATT Wireless Services, Liquidnet, LaBranche Structured Products, and Ziff Brothers Investments.

Mr. Varricchio is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, and a Member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and the Young Men’s and Women’s Real Estate Association (YMWREA).
