Roxana Girand has been a Real Estate professional in the New York City Real Estate market for more than 15 years.
In 1994, Ms. Girand was in charge of the leasing department at Citi Habitats, managing over 40 full time brokers. In 1999 she was recruited by Teligent to manage their Northeast Real Estate Leasing and Investment Sales department. She was responsible for the acquisition of over 30 properties in New York and Boston. When the project was completed, she joined Murray Hill Properties.As Senior Managing Director at MHP, Roxana has represented owners of major office buildings and prominent tenants in leasing, management and investment sales as well as disposition and acquisition of office space. Her blue-chip client list includes; Sterling National Bank, El Universal of Venezuela, Lloyd Goldman, David Werner, Flexis Capital, among many others. Some of the major office buildings that she currently represents are: 417 Fifth Avenue and 10 West 56th Street. Ms. Girand also represents the residential building located at 1009 Fifth Avenue. Recently she was instrumental in the sale of 236 Second Avenue and the purchase of 10 West 56th Street . Over her fifteen year career, Roxana Girand has represented over 3.7 Million Square feet in New York City. With an international background, a deep understanding of many cultures and a firm understanding of today’s global market place, Ms. Girand distinguishes herself from her competitors. Born in New York and raised in Colombia and Spain, fluent in Spanish, Italian and with a high level of Portuguese and French, her specialty is assisting clients from Latin America and Europe in their expansion or relocation throughout the US and overseas. Roxana is also involved with the international and local private equity markets, hedge funds and institutional investment advisory industry, working closely with New York based, Bermudian and Cayman Fund Managers. Her perseverance, resourcefulness and creativity are her hallmark and they have proven to be the basis of her successful career. Her dedication and personalized service to her customers is what ultimately differentiates her colleagues. Ms. Girand has a JD in international law from Bogotá – Colombia and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and the Young Men’s / Women’s Real Estate Association of New York (YMWREA.)
